Bead Tree Fetish!

Oi!
Well here it is Monday again, hope everyone had a great weekend. We sure did. Spent the weekend with our friends, Carrie, Chris and Heather up in Edmonton. Had a great time playing croquet, Scrabble and hanging out in Carrie's beautiful yard. Carrie is the glass bead artist that I mention all of the time. She owns the Bead Tree and together her and her Mom make the most beautiful jewelry and I now have to admit that I have a problem! I got two more amazing bracelets from them which I absolutely adore. It prompted me to clean up my Jewelry Box and then sit down and take inventory of all of my Bead Tree Creations...so had to take a picture. I believe there is one other client of the Bead Tree's that I am in competition with for owning the most...I'll get back to you and let you know once Carrie takes a look at these pictures!

Here's some pics of Cairo too! Just cuz I haven't shown any pics of her lately.

I leave you with these cute pictures and will chat more tomorrow!

Fun, Fun, Fun...

I know I promised to be back on Tuesday however the days keep speeding by and there is never enough time to do everything on the "To Do" list, so unfortunately the blog is the first thing to get dropped! However, I am here now!

I didn't get a chance to talk about last weekend the other day, so I will give you a quick overview as we had such a great time and I have to share it.

Friday night we went to our friends house that had just returned from Wimbledon! They shared some fabulous stories over a nice Tapas dinner in the back yard. We had a great campfire and laughed and drank wine...it was a great time up until our friend Andrew got swarmed by some pesky little wasps, craziest thing we have ever seen! Note to everyone out there, do not sit right beside a wasps nest (this was unknowingly albeit)! He is okay thank gooddess...just gave us another story to reminisce about in the future! lol

Saturday was a work around the house day, as we are still in the middle of finding places for all of our junk! Why do we collect so many things that we do not need? Crazy isn't it.

Sunday was our annual visit with our friend Heather and Ken, we meet up every year for the Stampede Rodeo Finals...what a great time we have! Some amazing atheletes and amazing animals! After the rodeo we met up with Janice and Andrew (our friends from Friday night) as it was Andrew's birthday! We had a great time at the Budweiser Big Rig! LOL Met some wonderful people from England and soaked up the sun on the patio. Andrew then took us to dinner, we had a great meal with them to celebrate.

I wrapped up the crazy weekend on Monday morning with a trip to the urgent care facility here in Airdrie...lol Nothing serious, I had a piece of glass in my foot since Thursday and could not get it out. I thought because I was an archaeologist I could dig it out myself...well apparently not, just pushed it in deeper. Off to the doctor I went to wait an hour and a half to have the most tiny piece of glass surgically removed! It's all good now though!

So now that I have rambled on...what's new for Belo Sol? Still working on looking through all of the new fitness wear, looking at scaling back what we carry for the fitness wear line. I would prefer to focus on the swimwear, but I know there are certain pieces that some of you would like me to still carry. If there are, let me know by sending me an email and I will keep supplying them as long as there is a demand! Will update the website soon with the newest additions that I will be bringing in as well.

I will leave you now and probably won't be back until Monday, off to Edmonton this weekend to visit my wonderful friends! Also, my friend from Vancouver is in town so I am grabbing her from the airport to make the trek to the 'chuck with me! Should be a great time! Here's a pic of us girls...it's great that we are able to get together so much this year...when you have great friends, it means so much to be able to see them often!

Bom fin de Semana!

I'm Back

Ola!
I am back from the cabin and am well rested even though it seems like I need another holiday already! Which lucky me, will be having in 2 1/2 weeks! We honestly live a charmed life and that's one thing I have really learned in the past little while. How lucky we are to live the life that we do...so today make sure to "take stock" of everything you have around you...no matter what is happening good or bad, we are here and we are making a difference everyday.
That being said, our holiday was fantastic, relaxing, boating, skiing, canoeing, Yes canoeing we bought a canoe for the lake and we are pretty excited. Our friends up in Edmonton canoe a lot and we have always talked about buying one so that we could go on trips together. Now we have one and hope to be able to use it lots next year at various locations around Alberta. Here's us on our first trip with Carrie and Chris, this was a long time ago in Drumheller, but we loved it!

Well, I better get back to the hundred little tasks that need to be done! Will be back tomorrow with a few other stories from the past couple of weeks!
