Working hard today, went to a Airdrie Chamber meeting and learned some more about Networking. Great little tips to meet new people, find out what they can offer and what you can offer them and great referral tips. Sometimes feel like the "new kid" at these things, but definitely learning more and more about business and about local businesses in Airdrie. So I was digging through one of my closets and found a old case full of CD's. Haha...flashbacks are great aren't they? Right now I'm listening to Days Like That by Sugar Jones. Do you remember them? They were formed through Canada's first version of "Making the Band" or whatever it was Popstars? I tried to reference them, but sadly enough their websites are no longer active. The reason I had this single was because everyone thought that I looked like the one girl in the group. It went so far as when one of my good friends (Carrie! of the Beadtree) first met me, thought that I actually was her! We now have an old running joke about this. So I will show a picture of the band and one of me...you be the judge.
Anyways, enough chit chat, gotta get a fitness wear order in and it takes a long time!
Supposedly I am the one second from the left. Don't even know her name, think it is Julie. I put an old picture of me when I had short hair. Guess you can't tell with the sunglasses on, but I've wasted enough time now, totally procrastinating. By the way that's me with some village children in Malawi.
